Privacy policy

Bannack Real Estate Group ("we," "us") runs bannackrealestate.com and its property search pages. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact Jeremy Williams at jeremy@bannackre.com or 406-531-1519.

Information you give us

When you fill out a form on this site, such as a home value request, a newsletter sign-up, a home search request or a consultation booking, we collect what you enter. That can include your name, email address, phone number, property address and anything you write in a message.

When you create an account or save a search on our property search pages, you give that information to IDX Broker, which runs those pages for us, and it is shared with us so we can follow up.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited, how long people stay and what kind of device they use. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, browser type and pages viewed. We do not use it to identify you personally. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Our web host and our property search provider keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

Calls, texts and email

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request. We will only send marketing texts if you have agreed to receive them, and you can reply STOP at any time. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our web host (Netlify), our property search provider (IDX Broker), our customer relationship management system, our email provider and Google Analytics. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
People involved in your transaction, such as lenders, title companies and other agents, when you ask us to help you buy or sell.
Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.

Embedded content and other sites

Some pages include videos from YouTube. They load only when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube's own privacy policy then applies. Links to other websites, including our property search pages, are governed by those sites' policies.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing jeremy@bannackre.com. We may keep some records when the law or our brokerage licensing rules require it.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or email is completely secure. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
